TJD Experiment
7 Days Outside
Ten minutes outdoors, every day, for one week. A one-line note each day. Then a look back at what you noticed. Let’s see how you feel.
See the weekJoining, daily check-ins and the group conversation open with member accounts.

The week

Day one
Just go. Ten minutes, any outdoors you’ve got.

Day two
Leave the headphones home. Notice one sound.

Day three
Go a different way. Notice one colour.

Day four
Halfway. Notice one smell, good or otherwise.

Day five
Take someone with you, or call someone while you walk.

Day six
Go at a different time of day than usual.

Day seven
Your favourite route. Then read your notes back.
Each day, one line
After your ten minutes, jot one line: where you went, and how you felt before and after. A notebook works. So does the notes app on your phone. When member accounts open, Joy will keep these for you, privately, and show you the week at a glance.
At the end of the week, read them back. Did anything shift? Maybe nothing did, and that’s useful to know too. We’re not promising results. We’re inviting you to pay attention.
Gentle notes: go at your own pace, dress for the weather, and skip a day if your body asks you to. If you have a health condition that affects walking or time outdoors, check with your doctor first.
Start with the ten-minute walk that isn’t about steps.
